Members were welcomed into the home of Edwina Currie-Jones on 27th October 2023.
Members were treated to an evening with former Government Minister Edwina Currie-Jones in her warmly home to host Ben Bradley and our Parliamentary candidate Robert Largan. The evening was to speak to local members to talk about the opportunities of the East Midland Combined Authority Mayor.
The East Midland Mayoral election to be held May 2nd 2024 is to cover the areas of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Ben shared his wealth of experience from being Conservative MP, former Local Councillor and leader of Nottinghamshire County Council.
Members were then treated to curry from Debbie from Disley who put on a very tasty spread of food.
