Chapel branch invite you to a "Winter Warmer" on Sunday 16th February 2014 at 12noon which will be kindly hosted at the home of our MP, Andrew Bingham. The tickets will be £7.50 per head and will include a drink plus hot roast sandwiches. There will be a bar and a raffle. Everyone will be welcome and remember, you do not have to be a member to come.

You are invited to a "Burns Night" by High Peak Conservative Association on Saturday 25th January 2014 at Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club, 7pm for 7.30pm. The cost will be £25 per head for a 3 course menu followed by coffee and mints. Music will be provided by Andrew Bingham MP.

High Peak North branch invite you to their Christmas get together on Sunday 15th December. Tickets £3 which will include a glass of sherry and mince pies and will commence at 12noon. Everyone welcome.

Buxton branch invite you to their friendly coffee club at The Old Hall, Buxton on Friday 29th November 10.30am to 12noon when the speaker will be Cllr Emily Thrane, one of our Borough Councillors, who will be speaking about Reaseneath College of which she is Chairman.

Chapel branch invite you to a talk by Mr Edmund Bradbury on Friday 22nd November 2013 at Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club, Cockyard, at 7.30pm. The subject will be "Flight Lieutenant William Astell DFC and the Dambusters" in memory of the members of the squadron who lost their lives on the raid on 16th May 2013. Edmund will describe the background to the organisation of this most significant commemoration and the talk will be followed by a buffet supper and entertainment by music duo 'The Dinky Doos' with songs from the 40's and 50's.

High Peak North branch invite you to a Fun Quiz Night on Friday 25th October at The Commercial Inn, Manor Park Road, Glossop at 8pm.

Chapel branch present a Night (not) In Front of the Telly! on Friday 25th October at Chapel Cricket Club, 7.30pm start. All your favourite television quiz formats on one night in Chapel - Who wants to be a millionaire, 15 to 1, Countdown and Pointless. Teams of up to four, £7.50 per head to include light supper. There will be a cash bar and a raffle. Everyone welcome.

Buxton branch invite you to their friendly Coffee Club on Friday 25th October at The Old Hall Hotel, Buxton 10.30am to 12noon when the speaker will be Andrew Bingham MP who will be talking to us about his current concerns.

Blackbrook, Combs & Whaley Bridge branch invite you to a Treasure Hunt on Saturday 5th October meeting at Chinley Station Car Park at 3pm. This will be followed by a Hot Pot Supper at Stubbins Lea at 6pm. Tickets £10 per head.

Buxton branch invite you to their friendly Coffee Club on Friday 27th September at the Old Hall, Buxton, 10.30am to 12noon when the speaker will be Viscount Ashbrook talking on the subject of "The Arley Estate". This event will be open to the public.

Buxton branch have arranged a tour of Tunstead Quarry on Friday 20th September 2013 to meet at Tunstead House at 10am. A mini bus will be provided and also a buffet lunch. Tarmac organise these tours as part of their "Community" involvement programme and make no charge. However, they are extremely popular and the chance doesn't come up that often, so a donation to Association funds of £5 per head would be appreciated.

Blackbrook, Combs & Whaley Bridge branch invite you to a visit to Holmfirth Vine Yard on Friday 13th September 2013. This will include a talk, tour of the vineyard and tasting. Tour begins at 7pm and is expected to be around 2 hours. Expected time of pick up by coach will be approx 5.30pm. Pick ups will be from Chapel, Chinley, New Mills and Glossop. Cost is £20 per person. At present there are still a few places available.
